Ripping off cancelled clients

My cellphone account was cancelled by Blue Financial Services (Mobile-U) in April this year. They were not going to be doing cellphone accounts anymore and blocked my sim. There was still money owing to me so I was informed I had to sign a cancellation letter which I did and sent to them. They then unblocked my sim for another 30 days as per the cancellation letter. One or 2 more debit orders went off and then no more as the contract was cancelled.
2 Weeks ago I receive a letter in the post to say I owe them R829, I called them the day after to query this and was told it was R1280-86. I called them today and was told it is now R1700 odd. I argued with them that this account was cancelled and I have the correspondence and all they say is that I should have called them when the debit order didnt go off EVEN THOUGH the account was cancelled.
They refuse to let me speak to a supervisor and keep saying the onus was on me. This is ridiculous how they try to keep ripping me off but refuse to let me speak to someone who is prepared to see all the correspondence regarding this.
