Blue / Credit U Financial Services
Handed over to two different attorneys

Business & Finance

I had a loan from Blue/Credit you Financial service in 2008.In September 2009 lost my job and couldn't keep up with the repayments. In July 2010 my financial situation changed and I was in a position to settle the account. I had just been in a car accident with a broken ankle and collar bone so I couldn't go to Blue /Credit U offices. I phoned them and asked how much I need to pay to close the account. I was told to contact the lawyers since my account was no longer with them. On the 21 July 2010 I contacted the lawyers which were Van Der Berg Van Vuuren Attorneys in Bloemfontein and requested a settlement balance and their banking details. They told me that I needed to pay R15 795.40 and gave me their banking details. I paid R15 795.40 electronically I received confirmation that they received the money and the matter was resolved I never heard from them or Blue / Credit U Finance again until April 2013 may when I thought it was a mistake. I was contacted by J M Attorneys who told me to pay an instalment of one thousand one hundred and something rands. I told them the account was paid up back in 2010 already. I've been trying to get a statement from them and have had no luck.
