Overpriced Repair

My panel beater quoted R4 000 to remove all the dents... mainly scratches from trolleys and parking scrapes.
Because Outsurance insisted on a report of each scratch it became 4 claims. Now they load our Excess from 0 to R8 000 plus. We are pensioners without an income. It does not sound right that they can have an assessor take the cost up to R20 000 and then lay it on us that it is the frequency of 4 claims.
