Not once but twice the bad experience in 6 months

I wrote a week ago on a non-response to my claim on my written off vehicle. Since I disputed the claim, Santam took me through the worse emotional experience I ever had. No service to a point that I had to escalate this matter to the Ombuds. My first accident (not my fault) with my car had my car returned to me with further damages from the auto repair shop. Accident 2 (again not my fault) Santam gave me a settlement amount that I did was not made aware of when taking out the policy has become an emotional nightmare. I waited several weeks from the 16th of August to now to get any customer service out of Santam. I hope many customers read my complaint and become alert to what to expect when placing insurance faith in the right hands. My claim has not yet been settled but I received an sms from the car hire company requesting to return the car or I will pay even though I have paid insurance premiums for Sep and the assessor advised me differently. For whatever its worth, Santam's Hellopeter "watchdogs" really are just that. I am hoping to be settled soon, then I will leave the emotional damage caused by Santam for good. I am afraid to think what my RA payout experience will be.
