A few weeks ago GT247 experienced a software/trading platform crash that must have placed every single one of the clients currently trading at that time in jeopardy, since the trading platform was suspended no trading could take place, however the trading positions remained live. The consequences of that could have been devastating and I am sure that for some people it was. At the time email the customer services department whose response was one of "tough luck" make sure that you have your "safe guards" in place. Yes that is sensible, you can avoid big losses by having your stop loss kick in but what about the traders who had taken postions in order to achieve certain specific target postions and were unable to do that and missed their profits. In any event it seemed to me that GT247 cared very little about the consequences that might evolve for their clients. Yesterday I was in a postion of my own making, very carless, but called GT247 at 1715 and was informed that there was not a single manager in the office. 247 what is that, I thought I was delaing with an organisation that traded 247 and had my back 247, not so. GT247 is starting to show a pattern which I find worrying.
