Debited after retrenchment & supporting docs submi

I submitted retrenchment documents and supporting docs (claim form, stamped by company) and copy of id to loan officer at Randburg branch on the 25th June 2013. I didn't receive any communication there after, apart from an sms requesting the above mentioned docs, while I was in the branch. The guy who was assisting said to ignore he would submit after we had finished and he stamped the form to acknowledge recite. No debit was done in July, leading to assumption that the account was closed. On the 23rd of August I my account was debited. WHY!!??? This is breach of contract and promise, why do I pay for insurance if I still need to pay after being retrenched??? I subsequently called the call centre 3 time all conflicting stories, on the 27th August, spoke to Mandy at 09h12, than called branch, 09h26 spoke to Mathaphelo. Today is the 4th September and I still have not heard anything from African bank re this query. I want the money deducted from my account to be reimbursed within 7 working days, or I will be taking this matter further with consumer and banking ombudsman and legally. Awaiting your urgent response!!!
