Poor service from appointed service provide

My car went to West Rand Panelbeaters on 14 August & I was told it would be ready in 5 - 7 working days. On August 21 I got an SMS from Budget saying my car was in assembly. When I called on 23 August I was told the estimate I had been given was wrong & the car was not ready. I called my Budget repairs consultant who connected us via conference call to the Panelbeater. The Panelbeater promised I would get my car on 27/08, and the Budget consultant undertook to give me daily updates, which he never did.

I called the Budget consultant on 29/08 and he told me my car was being assembled and - in his words - "the earliest you can get your car is next week". He couldn't give me a date, instead promised to call me yesterday 02/09 to give me feedback, which he still hasn't done!

I am extremely unhappy with the treatment I'm getting from Budget. Even when processing this claim, they asked me for contact numbers of people who were in East London when the accident happened in Bloemfontein, "to verify my story" I was told! Only Budget know how a person can give details of an accident that took place 550km away.
