First National Bank
Dates reflacting on statements not corresponding

Business & Finance

Morning
I have a concern with FNB statements, the dates they put on the statements does not correspond to the date of actual purchase and the actual debit dates the account was billed. This causes a lot of confusion when you check your account and you cannot trace all the billing reflected on the statement becuase thier system reflects only the dates that the purchase was authorised i.e. five days after. This causes a lot of confusion to us as client becuase the acual dates are important to keep track of what is happening on the account.
Statement must show the day you made the purchase or the actual date the account was billed to track it and for reasons one can easily realise if there was purchases or authorizations.
Please rectify the system as it was before because know sereously it will have a Gab, many people will not realize if authorisations are bieng made on thier account.
I find it very strange when I check my account for a petrol puchase that I made on thursday on the 29th August 2013 at Alrode but when I check on the statement it shows purchase made at Alrode 2nd September 2013, I was not at Alrode on the 2nd September! very strange system!
