I visited Absa bank at the pavilion shopping centre to enquire about my credit card balance, i was asked to come back on another day as they could not contact the Head office branch. I re-visited the branch on the 20th of August again, i was then handed over to a consultant in the credit card division who merely read out the statement to me. Jakes agreed that the statement was incorrect & she would contact the pricing department to get some clarity, she also promised that she would call me within two days, to date i still await her call, i have left numerous messages for her to call me and i haven't received a call. I have been a customer for more than ten years and i am really appalled at the bad service. I will terminate this account shortly due to poor service levels.
