Hollard Xtender Scheme to Avoid Policy Payment

Hollard has refused to honour their Motor Xtender warranty with me.

The warranty covers R12000 for the Engine and an Engine has to done on my car (which costs R18000) but Hollard only want to pay R5500.

After speaking to them they now say they have found that is wear and tear.
I asked if I took the car and drove a few more KM's until it broke in the middle of the road, will it then cover R12000, and the answer was yes.

I don't understand why I must first drive the car until I completely breakdown, and in the process damage other parts of the car, until they honour to pay the covered amount.

I am really disappointed and will definately go on a campaign NOT to promote this warranty insurance unless they make an effort to at least try to meet their customers needs.
