Hollard Motor Xtender Policy worth every cent!

June, 2013, my gearbox started making a terrible rasping noise, I drove it to my preferred garage in Woodstock, who assessed a serious gearbox problem and deemed the car non drivable. I have been with Hollard for a over a year now on the Maxi Cover plan, and during this time they paid for my service to the maximum with a reasonable amount paid in by myself, 6 months later, the gearbox was a big concern for me and wondering if they would cover it, my garage stripped the car and assessed the gearbox damage and presented Hollard with a quote. Within a few days, I received a call to say Hollard had agreed to cover the gearbox repairs with maximum cover of R180000 for transmission, Hollard agreed to cover R17500 of this! To my joy and surprise, as we all know many companies will find what excuses they can to not cover or reduce the level of cover to their benefit. Thank you Hollard! Then I was having difficulty funding the repairs so again Hollard impressed me with their flexibility in paying for the repairs directly to me so I could pay the garage. Once again, I am super impressed, and would highly recommend Hollard to anybody looking for reliable and honest insurance company.
