How can charges be more than interest

After no response from Nedbank since 8 January lets see if it is quicker here/
How on Earth can the monthly admin fee on an investment account be more than the interest earned.
This NEDBANK is in effect me paying you for the pleasure of "Investing" with yourselves
I am NOT impressed
