ATM and Standard didn't bother helping me

I was withdrawing cash from one of the ATM in town and suddenly my card was not coming out and the machine became blank. The security told me to move because the machine was flashing in green asking me to put my card while the card was inside. I refused to move and after 15 minutes I received a message telling me that all my money is out, the machine didn't release my card and the cash was gone just like that. I went to Standard Bank Branch and I was told that they would investigate after a month with no response went back and they told me that they can't help me because this happened to the ATM I usually withdraw cash at. I need to know how can they say that because the security guard was there and saw everything and they have camera's. can't they check and see that I didn't get any cash.
