Claims Increase

I had a claim that was bungled by the handler but in came Jacque and really restored my faith in Discovery. He was professional, helpful and above all understanding. Claim was paid.

Right so then this happened. A taxi rear ended me and caused R26000 worth of damage. Discovery again was great in attending to my issue, arranged the towing company, rental and everything else. Great service.

Then I received a call this morning. They want to increase my premium by 30% because of my claims ratio!!! All of my claims were from natural causes apart from the taxi. What an insult. Currently getting quotes and will be canceling my policy shortly.

Such a pity as people like Jacque really lifts the brand image of discovery. You can take your fuel cash back and shove it!!!
