Worst service as a result of dont care attitude

I placed an order with FNB in December 2012 for a iPad. There was an initial requirement on my side to get the debit order switching in place before the order could go through. I did that on the 19th of December 2012. I phoned the call center numerous times to get updates on the status of the device delivery. Initially everything was in order but later there was no stock for the device and nothing was done as a result of the debit order switching not being sorted. I had to re-contract to move forward from the then current dilemma. I was assured that everything will be in order this time since the issue have already been escalated. I received and SMS that the device have been released to the courier company on 18 January 2013 stating that I will be contacted within 24 hours. Today is 24 January and nobody have contacted me. I have to follow up constantly. The courier said I will have to wait 6 days to receive the device. I was advised by an dotFNB consultant that if the order is cancelled telephonic-ally I can collect a device from them. The consultant I spoke to today at the call center advised I will not be able to. There is an attitude of not my problem with each department.
