In May 2012 I requested a staff member to provide power of attorney on my accounts to a family member and vice versa. All documentation was provided, signed, stamped, etc. My request was never attended to. I could not return to the branch as I had become very ill (thus the reason for my request in the first place). A week ago we again went to the bank and requested the same service. All documentation was provided, signed, stamped, etc. I waited a few days and returned to the bank to see if my request had been attended to. I got a big smile and an "Eish" apology. The friendly guy said "I don't know what to say to you and I don't know what to do about it". I left the branch feeling very angry as my request had not been attended to (just like 16 months ago). My question to the bank is: When you advertise these words "Make things happen" - what exactly is your message to your customers? Are you trying to tell us that "you" will make things happen or are you trying to tell us to "Do it yourself"? Since I waited 16 months for "nothing to happen" please will you tell me how long I will wait for "something to happen".
