People beware biz launch from standard bank is a. The package given to me on opening my biz launch account read as follows; for just R90 per month you get: unlimited electronic transactions, unlimited cheque card swipes etc. Your biz launch account will revert to a normal business account after 12 months and normal rates will apply. Well I have had the account for about 3 months now and std bank has suddenly changed their rules. Now after 30 eft's and 30 card swipes they charge you. Std just wanted to get as many businesses on board as possible before they pulled this on them. This is nothing short of, misleading advertising and a. Its time for the ombudsman or the government to put these institutions in their places. But of course banks are allowed to do this, and they do it with impunity. I called in to complain and got 3 sms's and nothing else. So my advice to everyone is steer clear of this bank.
