NO BENEFIT TO BANK WITH STANDARD BANK

I have been a standard bank account holder for more than 25 years. However I have now seriously considered closing my account (Titanium Credit Card) and joining another banking institution.

Exlcusively Titanium, a "rewards" or "discount" value add to the Titanium credit card holders was stopped end of last year, with a statement on their webpage that they will launch a better and more exciting "rewards" program early 2013. After calling the call centre to ask on the progress of the program I was rudely informed that it is still under discussion and they cannot advise me when it will be launched.

In the interim I am earning sweet blue all for spend I currently place on the credit card. If I had a discovery credit card or FNB credit card I would have earned huge miles and or other benefits. I will be closing my account and applying at another instituion. Standard Bank you do not offer ANY value to me... and I am amazed at how little innovation you have shown especially in the current competitive banking market and offerings to the clientele out there.
