Insurence wants me to pay for their mistake

I have been insured with Regent since the purchase of my car where when I took the insurence I insisted on a courtessy car as major with maximum days to hire when my car would be in for repairs. I also insisted on the option that waives excess but was told the closest to that is a flat rat of R2500 that I ended up taking.

Now when I made a claim they approved it and said I did not have the courtessy car available as an option, I fought with them and they went looking for the recording with their consultant. The recording confirmed I subscribed for the option and they advised me I was not getting billed for the car hire as they made a mistake. They advised me they wasn't all of it paid retrospectively including my excess amounting to R7000 that I advised them I do not have.

As a reputtable company I expect them to absorb the costs as carelssness was on their side and the premiums they advised me of did not bounce even once so I have been very good on my side and do not understand why I am being punished for an error on their side. They refuse to give me my car back without paying this amount at once. Please help me as I need my car to get to work so I can keep my job..
