Unauthorised internal debit order from fn

I would like to express my disgust at the fact that my account was debitted with R840.00 on 25th of August without prior arrangement or consent and upon calliing the legal collections dept i was advised that they have every right to debit my account for the amount as i am owing on my card. Who worked out my affordability and decided i could afford to pay R840.00? Consumer rights are no longer a concern, NCR?
I intend to close my account and move to a bank better suited to assist and liaise with their clients
