This is the second complaint I have regarding the same issue. Amazingly, no one has contacted me back on the first complaint. I am shocked to hear that my mother of 66 years old has spent R400 in phone calls and 3 repeated visits to the Standard Bank branch in the past 20days to sort an issue where someone withdrew money out of her account after her bank card was stopped. On top of it, people are informing my mother that she might not get her money back. If this is not sorted out in the next 5 days, I will use all characters on this platform to ensure that through SEO, my complaint appears on the first [URL Removed] search page for Standard Bank. In addition, I have spoken to two chief editors of influential newspapers about this situation. One has a journalist is writing up an expose on bank card and competencies in banks to deal with such issues. You better sort this out now or else I will sign the release form that they can use my mother's story and sensationalise it if they want.
