Credit Card Cancelled in spite of SPITE feedback

Credit Card just gets cancelled!! Customer talks to the bank - advises them of short-term issue by not being employed. Sends numerous emails / answers 100's of calls from call centre that phones ALL hours of the day and night, up to 10 times a day - each time a different person, each time have to tell the story over again. Records not updated and next thing - CREDIT CARD CANCELLED!!
People are no longer being treated as PEOPLE but as numbers!! Banks dont care. All the headlines of "we are here to help"... all nonsense!!! No matter how you communicate, write letters, make arrangements - NO courtesy call to discuss... just CANCELS... now reflecting on credit score and NOTHING a consumer can do about it. The banks have all the power and consumers NONE!!! This HAS to change. Its not acceptable. That is why people are stressed, committing suicide, divorce, alcholism, drug abuse, losing their jobs = BECAUSE NO ONE CARES ANYMORE!!
