Our company signed up 5 members onto Bonitas Medical Aid with the 'help' of Jenny Andrews from Old Mutual Life Assurance Company. She took 3 months to get everything up and running and it was only evident that my staff were covered when Bonitas decided to take 3 months worth of premiums off our company account for all 5 members. Then, when the staff wanted to cancel the medical aid due to lack of service, Jenny miraculously didnt receive my 6 emails requesting the cancellation. Instead, I had to ask the lady from Discovery that we had now chosen to go with if she was able to cancel the Bonitas medical aid. She managed to do the cancellation for me, and at the exact same time, I received a mail from Jenny saying that each member on the Bonitas medical aid had to give her a letter to cancel and it would then take 30 days. Needless to say, I was furious when Bonitas then decided to debit my account yet again! I've cancelled the medical aid AGAIN and now am holding my breath to see if they will debit my account again this month.
The whole experience of dealing with Jenny Andrews has been a nightmare and she clearly doesnt know what she's doing and feels its ok to to clients
