I applied for a homeloan in June 2013, my bond was approved and I went to go and sign my contract in july 2013. However the contract says that the instalement is due 45 days after registration takes place, (my bond was registerd on the 7th of August 2013), this however is not the case as standard bank took the first instalement on the 26th of August 2013, 19 days after registration took place. Upon phoning them, no one can give me an answer or assist me in the matter, simply thats the way it is. And if I would like to make arrangements because I can not pay they will assist me, which affects my GOOD name (as I am a prestige client) badly. Standard bank is placing their clients under unneccesary financial stress. I am so dissappointed as it is the second time I am writing on hello peter about them. I also signed for a credit life policy which is not even active, instead the activated building insurnace, which I already have through my exisitng broker, and of what the proof was given to them prior to registration. I will be changing my account as this not the type of service I expected from my bank!!!
