NOT LIVING UP TO THEIR PROMISES & BAD SERVICE

I had an insurance with them from 01/09/2011. I have never claimed or missed any of their premiums until last month July 2013 when their premium was not paid. They never phoned me to tell me or enquire when can they collect the premium again. Until the 24th August when I was phoned and informed that my policy has been cancelled automatically for this 1 payment not received. On Thursday the 22nd Ausust I had an accident and reported it to them. Was this notice of cancellation due to the fact that I lodged a claim with them or what?

After all on the documents which were sent to me it says reads on: PAYMENT NOT RECEIVED
If your premium is not received on your preferred deduction date, an attempt to collect your premium on a more suitable date may be made in effort to keep you covered. If payment is not received for three consecutive months, the policy will be cancelled immediately. This was never the case with me.

This is so pathetic to make empty promises like this. I guess that is why you are mostly insuring or reruiting women because they are always easy to be manipulated well this this people must know you for who you really are.
