WORST SERVICE EVER BY A BANK

Good day

I applied for a Gold cheque account on-line at FNB on 15 July 2013 and I supplied all the required documents (ID copy and Proof of residence) to the courier as they supplied me with the Cheque Card. To activate the account I was told to deposit R50.00 into the account, which I did several times to be told that my account was not cleared. I frequently went to a branch in corner Main and Sauer Street (JHB), as well as Bank City (JHB) only to be told that my account is being investigated. I asked why was the account being investigated (CBS) no one provided a clear explanation as to why and when will I get an outcome of the investigation.

I wanted to start earning my 15 August 2013 salary in the account and also to swap my debit orders into the same account. Is this how the most innovative bank in the world treat its customers. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE LEVEL OF SERVICE I AM RECEIVING ESPECIALLY FROM THE INVESTIGATING TEAM WHICH CAN NOT PROVIDE VALID REASONS WHY MY ACCOUNT IS BEING INVESTIGATED AND WHEN WILL I START USING THE ACCOUNT.

My disappointment knows no bounds.
