Shirley van Weren from Standard Bank credited my account after I indicated that she is not to do this as I received goods from the supplier. Payment was to be effected even though the transaction related to February 2013 and the deduction was only being made almost a year and a half later. I provided proof of the transaction which I obtained from the supplier and all that I asked was that she then just confirm that the transaction did in fact relate to purchases made during February 2013. When I required why she went ahead with the credit, she indicated that this is the process followed and she requested the credit before she asked me if I in fact want the amount credit. If this is the case then why bother asking me in the first place. Further to this, she took forever to respond to my mails or did not respond and she had really stink attitude. Another reason why I'm considering changing banks as Standard Bank's service has been appalling lately. Forwarded this complaint to the complaints resolution centre on 21/8/2013 to which they responded that I submit supporting documentation again, I'm fed up with the to and fro and they can contact Shirley for the documents. UNPROFESSIONAL
