A&G - pathetic excuse for an Insurance Co

I called A&G for a claim relating to Veterinary expenses, which in their policy states: "MAXIMUM INDEMNITY FOR THE ADDITIONAL COVER YOU RECEIVE, AS RECORDED IN YOUR POLICY BOOK, TOGETHER WITH YOUR HOUSEHOLD COVER: Veterinary expenses=R2, 300.00
According to Cheryl A&G's telephone consultant A&G has declined my claim as my dog was not injured on the road and was injured in my home by my other dog and therefore A&G cannot payout the sum of R2, 300.00. Can you believe the frustration after hearing that. I pay my premiums of an excess of R1000 per month and have no resolve but to move all my polciies to another insurance provider. An insurance provider who does not treat you like a criminal everytime you contact them. I had three claims (never once on a motor vehicle) and each time I had to endure A&G's covert modis operandi of declining EVERY claim. A&G actually went as far as saying I am underinsured, when I had more than enough cover. They didn't take into account my specified items! Foolish yet quick to jump to conclusions to deny a claim. I am tired of this ludicrous excuse of an Insurance Company! I shudder to think of continuing with A&G's cover or perhaps NON COVER. Ombudsman again...
