I paid up my RCS Card account on at the end of May 2013 and requested that the account be closed. I was then told it was required in writing still which I did on 11 June 2013 The following day I got an email back that it would take 36 days to be processed. Which I think is totally unacceptable as I was given a settlement and paid on time before it expired at the of May 2013!! Then I received an account statement, in the last week of July that a purchase was made on my account on 20 June 2013 in Wyneburg for about R4500 or more. Which is impossible as this account should have closed and I had cut up the card at the end of May.
I called t my expense again to ask that my name be cleared as the account was supposed to be closed two months ago. I was told that it would take 21 days to investigate. spoke to the team leader by the name of Abdul that I should send an affidavit with ID copy to the Disputes, using this fax number: 0215974723. He said he would block the account and assist in speeding up the process he took my contact details and would call me to advice on the progress Till today I have not gotten any feedback from anyone
