Don't talk to these "lawyers"

Have a problem regarding a transaction with a bank. Saw the lawyer 1 August and supplied all evidence and gave instructions to send a letter to banks lawyers. 14 August a follow up call for progress report and NOTHING has been done. Only allowed 1/2 hr per consult! Lawyer said he knew about the process, but clearly out of his depth To much research for them perhaps? Poor feedback and now they tell us after all this time that THEY, the ones that take my money MONTHLY do not want to take this further!! They wish to provide me DEBT counseling and that is not what I need. I just wish, that they had been "HONEST" upfront about their capabilities and competency. This is very distressing to us to hear that after all this time these people promise so MUCH an yet deliver so LITTLE. I think in this instance that their SLOGAN--don't talk to me talk to my lawyer is so far from the truth. I now say, don't talk to your lawyer, it does not help. With regards to our problem with the bank and LEGALWISE---conflict of interest? Then where can you go to get legal help? The last case that they did for us -5 yrs ago--still not sorted--seems to contradict their slogan don't you think?
