Homeloans: Six weeks and still no answers!

I applied for a home loan extension on 26 June 2013. I was telephonically contacted by Rhode my consultant, she promised to mail me her contact details. I did not hear from her again until 25 July. Between those dates I contact FNB Home Loans myself and was told that my application was declined as it did not comply with FNB's rules. After repeated attempts to get an explanation or further information from the call center I was very frustrated. No one could help me. This is against the consumer protection act. After threatening FNB homeloans, complaints center and Rhode with the ombudsman I finally got a response There had been an error on FNB's side and Rhode said she would re-submitt my application and that I should wait 3 to 4 days. 12 business days on NOTHING! When I get hold of Rhode she has another excuse. She does not respond to mails. I re-contacted Tarren Spadoni from complaints and have had no real response. Standard Bank approved the same loan application in 5 working days. Why should I pay R50 000 to move banks? There are multiple complaints about Rhode on this site, why is she still working there? This bad service from homeloans could destroy peoples lives. FRUSTRATED
