2 weeks ago I asked Riaan - Client service manager at Absa for assistance after HE CALLED me earlier on to say "I'm top 100 client" and if I ever need assistance I should contact him. 2 weeks ago I asked him to assist me, he NEVER got back to me with feedback until I put a complaint on Hello Peter. Last week, against my better judgement, I went to the SAME bank that I have been banking with for 10 years for assistance, Yanele took my details and said I will get a call the next day. He called me and said he has escalated the matter to The Glen branch, this was the 8th of August. On the 12th of August I called Absa Rosettenville and spoke to Mpho who told me the consultant who assisted me - Yanele is on a month's leave and she will call me back. I'm still waiting for Absa''s call. In the mean time, it took the other bank that I'm not banking with 2 days to give me feedback yet a MANAGER at Absa cant even give feedback!!! why am I still banking with Absa??? I have 3 investment policies with them and a home loan that was also a big mess up by Absa!!! WHY AM I STILL WITH ABSA??? THIS IS MY SECOND COMPLAINT IN 2 WEEKS!!! ABSA IS A JOKE! IM JOING ANOTHER BANK.
