Tiger Wheel and Tyre Damages vehicle

We replaced four tyres on our car in June and went to TWT Hatfield to make use of the Vitality Drive discount. During the tyre fitment and subsequent alignment, the technician damaged the bracket holding the ABS cable. The cable shaved through on the journey home and this negligence DIRECTLY resulted in the onboard computer rendering the vehicle undriveable. A tow-in later, diagnostics and repair saw us out of pocket for more than R5000. The technician at the manufacturer provided a written statement to show that the damage was as a DIRECT result of the TWT negligence. Attempts to contact TWT have resulted in nothing but arrogant denial of their involvement despite having all the necessary work orders and statements to show that the negligence occurred under their watch!

As a service provider on behalf of Discovery, this does not show any customer minded behaviour, nor does it reflect the high standards expected from Discovery and the providers they do business with. 10% discount on the initial bill is far overshadowed by the expense incurred as a result of the poor workmanship from TWT Hatfield
