Dangerously OVER- INFLATED tyres

To whom it may concern:

During the week of 18-22 November 2013, I took my vehicle for a tire inspection and rotation to Tiger Wheel and Tyre, Stellenbosch. My vehicle was taken into the service shop while I waited in the shop reception, it was returned to me within half an hour with the service being completed. Today 02.12.2013, to my horror, I discovered that all 4 tyres where Over Inflated to the excess of 3.1 Bars (Maximum being 2.4 bars). I went to two petrol stations BP and Shell stellenbosch and they confirmed that the tires where dangerously over inflated.

This complaint is about the gross negligence exhibited by the "tire Experts" Tiger wheel and tyre. My tires could have very easily exploded on the road while driving and may have had a catastrophic ending which could have taken my life or others. I feel socially responsible to share this to those who service their vehicles at this branch to beware of their negligence. Luckily this checked and verified before something bad happened but who is to say that this was not done already and resulted in a not so happy ending.

I urge everyone reading this to double check your configuration when leaving Tiger Wheel and Tyre.
