First National Bank
FNB Pays Bond refund into wrong bank account

Business & Finance

I sold my house and the bond cancellation payment was done on 2 August 2013.

The credit on the account of R12 553, 13 (before the last payment which occurred after registration of the new property of R10 872, 88) was deposited into the WRONG bank account!!!

I have been calling between the FNB Premier Suite and the home loans cancellations departments.. Every single individual promises to get back to me, so far I still have no answer.

The amount of the bond payment of R10 872 that was deducted after the property registered in the buyer's name, now needs to in the FNB account for 45 days.. DESPITE the property registering before the payment went off.

Now I am not only waiting for my last payment for the bond for a period of 45 days. I am also still waiting for a response to when I will receive my final settlement that was paid into the wrong account.

You don't expect this type of service from a big bank in South Africa
