Enbridge Financial Services
Third party damaged my vehicle

Business & Finance

On the 20th of June 2012 my vehicle was parked outside my work place building when a third party drove on my parked car. I lodged a claim with Enbridge Financial services through their broker, Winchester insurance brokers. They processed my claim an requested that I pay R7 500.00 towards excess as according to the Policy terms and conditions. They told me that they would claim from insurance of the third party the whole amount of repairs and then upon receipt of such funds transfer what is my own. It has been more than a year now since the accident took place and when I write them emails for updates they referred the matter to their lawyer who gave me feedback that the insurance of the third party refuses to pay on basis of contradicting statement they received from their client. I phoned the third party to hear his side of the story and he told me that his insurance (Regent insurance) promised him that they would pay so he must not bother himself about the matter any more. I really believe these two companies are playing games with me.
