Incorrect balance caused me an embarrassment

The standard bank system resulted in my account having a balance of R0.00 when the transactions clearly show that my account had a balance. This resulted in my purchases being refused in store and left me stranded as I couldn't even make withdrawals on any ATM. To add insult to the wound, their call center has so many security checks; my identity number, my cell number, my card number, my account and my address. Really? Do they think airtime is free? And then I'm put on hold for 10minutes, only to be told exactly what I am querying. Their system malfunction has once again caused me a weekend, and the inconvenience of not being able to access my funds is too much to say the least.

They need to do something about their security questions, when a client is angry because of poor service, asking them 100 security questions doesn't really solve the problem. It makes it worse. I'm hoping that on Monday when I arrive at one of their branches I will receive a proper apology for their mishap and that someone will compensate me for ruining my weekend.
