In May, I made a payment to my father, we are both Nedbank. I did not load a new beneficiary, I paid him into the account I always do, or so I thought. I have no idea how this happened, but it turned out, somehow the account number for my dad was an entirely different persons account, so he didn't get the money. I went to Nedbank the next day, and they said I need to do a recall. The guy at Nedbank went immediately in person over to Standard Bank to check this account status, and he came back to me to say most likely I will get the money back, and he can't promise. It is now August, Standard Bank do not get back to me. Each time I have contacted them I found the attitude unacceptable, they have not been supportive at all, they speak to me with an attitude of, this is your problem not ours. I called now, and the lady put me onto another "choose 1 for X"
The guy last week when I went into the branch said the correct person would come back to me by Friday, he did not, I had to call him on Friday, he said it had already been esculated, and now he esculated it again, and today I got passed on. I just want my money back now, I have waited long enough
