Hello Peter. In January 2013, there was an unauthorised debit order that went through from my FNB account and went to the branch in Bronkhorstspruit and was advised that the only way to prevent this from going further was through cancelling my card as they were using my card numbers. I cancelled the card as advised, and was given a new card 5 days later. On the 15th of July 2013, to my surprise the same transaction happened and I went back to FNB in Bronkhorstspruit and was assisted by Paul who made me fill out a wrong form, 2 days later I went to find out progress and we only discovered then that the card was never cancelled. I laid a complaint at the head office and the branch manager called me back on the 22nd of July and was promised it would be sorted out. Till this day I haven't had any feedback from FNB. My concern is how can FNB mislead me for so many months that my card was cancelled whereas it wasn't, if someone had picked up that card and used it who was going to be responsible for funds missing? I requested my money be reversed and this matter be sorted once and final, FNB hasn't responded. Please help
