My insurer, FSP (Regent) requested registration papers on 10 July 2013 for my vehicle which was written off in an accident on 22 June 2013. The "controller" assigned to my case was Amanda Makoro. According to Standard Bank, the turnaround time on registration papers is 7-10 working days. Amanda was copied in on all communication between myself, Standard Bank and FSP. At no point did Amanda feel the need to make any enquiries as to the location of these papers being requested, which she was responsible for. A colleague, Nicole Lazarus, had "forgotten" to save the request, therefore the lack of action from all parties concerned. I had to find out from a different department who the team leader is for this "lack of action and service" department and query the lack of action from her. Natasha has to date not phoned back as she promised to. All in all, this has been a very disappointing experience for me. Not only have I lost my very good vehicle, but I have had to do other peoples jobs for them because they do not begin to care about or understand the meaning of service. What a sad day for Standard Bank. They obviously believe they have competent and caring staff. What a joke!
