Cancelling OUTSURANCE requires a 2nd selling pitch

I have tried unsuccessfully to cancel my car insurance with Outsurance today. I tried my best to avoid calling them, because I want to avoid the inevitable repeat of their sales pitch. Therefore I tried to send an email to enquire how to cancel my insurance - no option is listed for this on their website! Only telephone numbers. So I sent a message via the complaint option. I missed their call back and at long last got an email (which is what I wanted in the first place), only to get a reply with a pdf document that explains why you should get insurance with Outsurance.
Why is it so difficult to cancel your insurance without a repeat sales pitch when you have already made up your mind and the debate is over???
