Nedbank fails to resolv transaction on my ac

On 4 May 2013 I noticed after accessing my internet banking profile a transaction of R5000-00 with the description "easy pay" had gone through. I contacted Nedbank call centre on May 6 and was referred to the card division where it was noted that the transaction went through in Rondebosch. At that time I was in JHB and had used my card to fuel my car and draw cash at more or less the same time. I have never used easy pay for any transactions. I consequently got the card blocked and filed a dispute form at the Rondebosch branch and also logged a claim with Nedbank. The transaction was never reversed and I was told that it would take 45 days to "investigate". This is highly frustrating to wait so long to hear the outcome. Nedbank only sent a letter on 10 June 2013 offering to settle only half the amount as their part of the liability. The banks systems were breached by no fault of mine but rather weaknesses in security procedures and I don't understand why I should be penalized for that! Very frustrating indeed please assist...
