I called on Friday for a settlement offer and was given and amount of R 49, 683.42 of which they debitted the instalment of R 2406 and i made a payment of R 40 000 in addition, upon asking for a the balance was advised its R 7277.03 and the settlement offer is R 7987.12 hence i am asking them why do i need to pay more than the balance they advise me that its insurance and interest for closing the loan before time hence a supervisor by the name of Sam which was not helpful at all advised that i can do anything i want to do but the charges will include the august fees of which i intend the close the account in July. I believe this is a and if same is not amended i will take the matter to the NCR.
