Unable to collect documents

My grandfather immigrated to Central America and prior to this requested ABSA to forward the relevant documents to his home address for collection by my brother who continued to live there. This was indicated to the consultant and when the consultant incorrectly requested delivery to the branch, my grandfather corrected the consultant and the adress change was made and confirmed. The delivery address was confirmed to be his home address by the ABSA call centre when I contacted them later. The document was send to the branch and even though the error was on ABSA side, they refuse to let me collect the documentation. The most frustrating part is that the teller at information was left on his own to continually tell me his attempts was unsuccessfully. It was suggested that the branch return the documents to head office and after this my grandfather can contact them via phone and change the address and the person aloud to collect the document. The impact is that the vehicle cannot be transferred to my name and my insurance only gave me 21 days transfer the vehicle to my name. The vehicle is currently uninsured.

It has now been 3 weeks, and no documents
