FNB trying capitalise on a terrible situation

Business & Finance

I woke up on Friday morning to an email from FNB stimulating that a transaction have been preformed where all but R900 had been transferred from my account on a transaction towards an overseas online jewelry website purchase, i contacted the division, I was told that it would take between 20 working days to investigate & that i should go into a FNB branch to arrange a reversal of the transaction, when i explained the situation to the clerk at the selcourt branch she told me that the reversal could not be done because their was now a criminal case open, she explained that the reversal could be done within 6 to 8 weeks after the case was closed. I asked her how was I suppose to pay my bills get to work or buy food? I could not wait 2 months for money to be returned to me! She then suggested I take out a personal loan through FNB! I am mortified! Here i am in a terrible situation and shes trying to capitalise on the situation? I pay FNB for a service to look after my money and i feel like an insurance company they should pay me out my money at their expense and then they can take as long as they want to investigate the case. Why should I have to suffer?
