Please, do not take out Annuities - with any insurer. I 've an annuity - cannot afford the payment of plus/minus R2800 now - fund value over R200 000 - want to reduce premium - NOW PENALTY PENALTY big time. Sanlam does not answer my queries? Just refer me to contract and though I asked about the Consumer Protection Act - THEY DO NOT ANSWER ME. If I reply to their mail - then I must wait 10 days for response - then somebody else answers.
