Advertising false information

I have applied for a loan EC fiance advertise online that they do not do itc checks which is why i applied for al loan through them. they sent me an email back to say i do not qualify due to affordability. How do they know i cannot afford it can only be known if you to a credit check. my whole reason i wanted the loan was to consolidate my debts and payup arrears which will allow me to have more money available. So the whole check out our compliments isnt so rosie i think.
