No feedback on my claim

In april I went to legal wise to assistt me. They promised to send a letter to the person the owed me money and contact me on the outcomes. A month later with no responce I called and was told thata consultant will call me back. After three days I decided to send an email because noone contacted me. Them a legal advise called me but I was suprised that the letter was only sent a day before she called. She then said that she will let me know if the person responded. After a while I called them back and they told me that the person didint collect the letter fom the post office. Now they will wait for the post office to return the letter and advise me on the way foward. Up until today no one has ever contacted me and I'm still paying my monthly premiums. All I want to know is why would a person pay for nothing. These people chase you when they want you to join or pay. But when it comes to asssisting they can't pick up the phone. I an cancelling the policy with them and will rather pay alawyer because if they can't assist with a small matter like this what will happen if I come with a bigger problem.
