Absa- Incompatent staff!!

I went to Absa 4-ways this morning.

I tried to print statements @ self service area- couldn't as the system didn't give the option to print & when I tried to view them it said pc settings didn't allow it- why have self service option?

Had to queue for statements for almost 20 mins, there were only 2 consultants working & 5 customers waiting. Was asked by 2 other staff why I was there, told I was in right line but they did nothing to sort the long wait.

I finally saw consultant nice guy, shame he can't do his job right! I asked him to cancel my cards & collected a new one with all my accounts on. I went to the garage to put petrol in my car this evening on my way to fetch my 2 yr old from creche. My card declined repeatedly! I then tried to use the ATM, still nothing. Although I knew I had sufficient money in my acc it kept showing my balances but saying R0 was available.

So I had to call your call centre, wait online for over 15 mins only to be told they "unfortunately" cant help me & I have to go to the branch! AGAIN! all my limits were @ R0 due to my new card. I had the explain to the garage owner, was an hour late to collect my 2yr old because of Absa!

UNACCEPTABLE!!!
