I had a burst water geyser in April. I notifed absa of the leak and have been dealing with problem ever since.
I have had so many conversations with the client service person giving incorrect information and telline me stuff and then changing his mind when i call back as the incorrect people come out to the house. Now they send a contractor out to replace ceiling boards and paint the walls but didnt paint behind the cupboard in the bedroom as well. I now lodge a complaint with the manager who questions me for me to prove the water leaked behind the cupboard before they will agree to paint. Who paints three walls a different colour and then says they arent painting behind the cupboard cause they dont want to remove the cupboard incase it gets damaged? They make you feel like a criminal that you now want something for nothing. My insurance is paid and i dont claim unnecessarily... but i feel like i am on trail now for expeting them to do their jobs - if they had informed me that they wont paint behind the cupboard then i would have told them to rather give me the money for the paint and labour and i would do it myself!
